More than one-third of our members hold a 3.75 GPA or higher, and six brothers earned perfect 4.0s in that spring semester. The most recently available UT Austin grade reports are from the spring 2022 semester where PIKES averaged a 3.349 GPA (we were in a cadre of 13 fraternities in the 3.4 GPA, with highest reported GPA of the 22 IFC fraternities at 3.56). We are proud of our academic performance as a chapter. These fall 2021 initiates are a big part of the Beta Mu brotherhood. Texas Pikes have been forming friendships on the UT campus for 102 years. We welcome alumni rush referrals and interested students can register for rush on the Rush page of this website. PIKE will also have a spring 2023 pledge class – we always look forward to meeting new UT Austin students interested in being a part of PIKE’s 102 years of Austin traditions. These new members hail from across Texas towns like Austin, DFW, Houston, San Antonio and Waco, as well as Colorado, Illinois, Louisiana, Virginia, London and Bogota. Our fall ’22 new members are integrating nicely into the chapter. The semester social calendar includes tailgates surrounding football season, our traditional Texas-Oklahoma road trip, SWAMP Party and several philanthropic projects. We are very excited to welcome a new member class of 41 young men. We look forward to an active semester ahead with our usual mix of academic, brotherhood, social and service events. November is PIKE Mentoring Month and we appreciate our Alumni Association working with us to host a Career Advisory Session during November. We look forward to welcoming alumni and families to Alumni Day October 15. We are creating new memories and are proud of 102 uninterrupted years of brotherhood and service in the UT Austin community. We are truly enjoying the new fraternity house, as we begin its third year of occupancy are grateful to the many PIKE alumni donors who made the new house possible. We had a great spring semester and summer in Austin with a “largely return to normal from the pandemic” for university classes as well as for our fraternity brotherhood and operations.
